Mindfulness in Nature

What is Forest Bathing? Forest Bathing, based on the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku.

Shinrin in Japanese means “forest,” and yoku means “bath.”

Forest Bathing is a  beautiful and gentle practice that opens our senses so we can connect with the restorative and healing power of nature.

When we slow down and embrace mindfulness, in nature we begin to notice the subtle nuances of life that often go unnoticed. The way sunlight dances through the leaves, the gentle caress of a breeze on our skin, the melodic chirping of birds in the early morning.

By being fully present in each moment, we can effectively lengthen our experience of time. We learn to appreciate the beauty in the ordinary, to find joy in the mundane, and to cherish the simple pleasures that life has to offer.
